Peter Karel is a multi-disciplinary artist specializing in Furniture Design, Interior Architecture, Illustration, and 3-D modeling and printing.  His furniture designs are heavily influenced by the natural world and the abstract beauty that can be found within it. He is particularly drawn to the use of simple gradients of color and shade, which he often incorporates into his designs. He is always conscious of the interplay between light and shadow, and often allows shadow to become a predominant feature of his pieces.  His work has been  featured in Architectural Digest, Interior Design Magazine, Lux, and numerous other publications.
